The 40 Piece Challenge is an event sponsored by the Facebook Page - The Art of Piano Pedagogy.

This event encourages piano teachers to keep themselves challenged in learning new repertoire, to the tune of 40 pieces through the academic school year (U.S. September through June)

I take the challenge to learn new student repertoire, especially from my fellow composer friends, learn or relearn the standard teaching repertoire, and to keep learning new classical (or other) repertoire. 

 

This is the third year I've participated and it has always been a lot of fun and a great incentive to keep the teacher practicing!!
